Fleming Island Baseball Complex
FILL is moving forward with creating plans for the complex that will be built where the complex was supposed to go in the first place, before Big League Dreams arrived.
The site is at the end of Thunderbolt Rd. The road just south of Thunderbolt school.
We will be fundraising very soon.
The county is offering matching funds, up to 100k per year, per organization. We already have a Park Name sponsor offering 100k of services, we just need the plans to begin the fundraising process.
We are planning for 5 fields with a concession stand, storage building and parking lot.
We will need many people to help with this effort. If you want to assist in this 2 year project please let the Board know and we will include you.

FILL nows offers a 13U League
Little League has added a new league called Intermediate which will be a 13U league with 50 foot pitching mound and 90 foot basepaths.
What does this mean for FILL?
We will offer this new league as our primary league for 10-13 year olds.
What are the rule changes?
This new league is pretty much straight up baseball rules. Lead offs, pick off plays, drop thrid strike and balks are all in play.
What bats will be allowed?
You can use a 2 5/8 bat with this league, just make sure its Little League approved beyond that.
What about Minors?
Minors will remain the same as it is today, they will play on a 46/60 field.
I am not sure what league to sign up for?
I would recommend you come to an onsite registration and we can help you with matching skill levels to the correct league.
