FILL is investing over $2000 at Paterson North Field

Many thanks to those that helped this weekend.

We are converting the grass field at Paterson to have a clay infield and baselines. We are paying for 36 yards of clay, and have put in hundreds of volunteer hours to improve this field.

We still need to complete spreading about half the infield but when complete this week it will be a tremendous asset for the league and schools. We will also be rolling the infield and outfield to get as smooth as possible surface.

Fall 2009 Practice Schedule Version 2

We are over 180 which breaks our all time high for Fall registrations. We will be sending out emails over the next few days along with updating the website with all schedules.

County postpones FI Sports Complex for 5 years

I learned recenty that our Commissioners have reappropriated the monies to cover for this years revenue short fall. All plans are on hold.

The county was moving forward with permits and designs until the plug was pulled a few months ago. The county has spent over 200k to get the park designed and permitted.

FILL - Remains the best deal in town!

FILL has always tried to stay committed to keeping fees as low as possible.

Our TBALL program remains at $45 dollars. For this fee you get a uniform(hat, jersey), trophy, and a picture package. Other programs in this area are charging $120 to play TBall.

Our older leagues are priced at a reasonable $90 with a $10 disccount for additional family members in the older leagues.

FILL will be soon part of the FIAA Family

FILL will become the baseball program within the FIAA organization.

The league will be run the same way with all the same volunteers so not much will change.

We continue to offer TBall, Machine Pitch, Minor League Kid Pitch and Major League Kid Pitch.

We still plan on offereing 13 yr old league Spring 2010.

Player Ages
If player is 5 by September 30th they can play TBall.
If player was 12 or under on 4/30/2009 they are eligible for our older leagues.

Flyers will be sent our to schools that starts on august 24th.

If you have questions we can take care of all of them when you show up for registration.

All Stars 2009 - 5/26 Meeting

Everyone should be informed by now about the upcoming All Start teams. We are planning 2 teams. One will be 9-10 and the other 11-12.

Ages are based on players age as of 4/30/2009

All candidates should complete the All Star Commitment letter and give it to the respective managers by 5/28/2009.

11-12 = 11 letters received

Both teams will likely need to trim a few players. The post season clinics are still a great experience for all players.
